Hey you, I want to share something profound about life and networking. A while back, I posted a reminder that we owe nothing to anyone, just as the same applies to us or to you. This reminder is crucial because life is unpredictable. Though I haven’t witnessed everything there is to life, but based on lessons learnt, I’ve witnessed many people allowing their emotions to dictate their actions, and I confess, I used to be one of them.
But thanks to a friend who opened my eyes to the fact that achieving our goals is far more important than dwelling on disappointments or conflicts. You see, I currently volunteer to serve as a State coordinator for the Kukar Center on National Peace in my State, and believe me when I say that sometimes, conflict can be a catalyst for positive change.
Yes, you read that right. Conflict can be good because it helps us find clarity and restore balance. So, if you’re the type who deletes contacts or blocks people after a disagreement, perhaps over a relationship or out of jealousy, let me tell you, it’s counterproductive.

I’m sharing this post today because, like many of us, I’ve had my fair share of disappointments, betrayals, and pain, which led me to remove some contacts from my list, especially from past relationships and friendships. However, life has an interesting way of surprising us. Sometimes, I find myself reconnecting with those I had once distanced myself from, and it turns out they’re doing exceptionally well. In those moments, I can’t help but feel a touch of regret for letting go. Life works in mysterious ways. Sometimes too, it’s the other way round.
Life has a way of surprising us, and you might find yourself needing that contact or their help in the future. Don’t be too quick to burn bridges. In fact, continue to reach out, share your business, showcase your products, and extend kindness. If someone chooses to block or delete you, it’s their loss, not yours.
